“Circular Impressions” Art in urban space.
Alexia Weill, sculptor artist exhibits her “Circular Impressions” from June 1 to 30 in the Cubes du Flon, an open-air gallery on the way-du-chariot in Lausanne.
His sculptures in stones, wood and resins are the snapshots of his multiple inspirations captured in circles, like his monumental sculptures already present in particular in the municipalities of St-Légier, Villeneuve and Aigle who commissioned him to sculptures for public space.
Inspired by archetypes and by the notion of time Alexia Weill sculpted her multiple emotions in stone and wood. She wanted to exhibit her works in the open-air gallery in the Flon district in Lausanne, 4 transparent cubes in the heart of the urban district in order to offer passers-by the possibility of seeing works of art without entering a gallery. or an Art space. This approach is part of the continuity of his work on art in the public space accessible to all.
